Tiranga and heartfelt tributes: Jammu Police reaches out to Martyr Families in RS Pura under Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign
As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign and ahead of Independence Day, Jammu Police organised a heartfelt ‘Tiranga Milan’ with the families of martyrs in R.S. Pura, honouring their supreme sacrifice and reaffirming the Police Department’s commitment towards the families of the nation’s bravehearts.SP Headquarters, Jammu, along with SDPO R.S. Pura and SHO R.S. Pura, visited the families of martyrs at their residences. During the interaction, the officers spent time with the family members, listened to their experiences and inspiring tales of valour and sacrifice, and paid rich tribute to the martyrs who laid down their lives in the service of the nation.Under Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, the Tiranga made way into the families of those heroes who are no longer amidst us. As a gesture of respect and solidarity, the officers distributed the National Flag (Tiranga) among the martyr families and urged them to proudly display the Tricolour outside their homes as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, thereby inspiring the community with the spirit of patriotism and national pride. The officers assured the families that Jammu Police stands firmly with them and will extend all possible support and assistance in all matters. The interaction reflected the deep respect and gratitude of Jammu Police towards the families whose loved ones made the supreme sacrifice for the security and integrity of the nation.The initiative highlighted the enduring bond between the Police and the families of martyrs and reinforced the message that the sacrifice of our bravehearts will always be remembered and honoured.
