ADC reviews Pre-Census activities, Self Enumeration Process in Rajouri‎‎

RAJOURI: Additional Deputy Commissioner Ravi Kumar Sihag today reviewed the progress of pre-census activities and the Self Enumeration process under Census-2027 in the district.‎‎The meeting was attended by district officers, Charge Census Officers, Block Development Officers and other concerned officials.‎‎The ADC reviewed the progress of Self Enumeration being carried out by government officials, public representatives and the general public since May 17, 2026. He also assessed the status of pre-census activities and the publicity, awareness and IEC campaigns being conducted at the charge level to ensure maximum public participation in the Self Enumeration process.‎‎The ADC stressed the importance of coordinated efforts among all departments for the smooth conduct of Census-related activities. He directed the officers to intensify awareness campaigns and encourage people to actively participate in the Self Enumeration process.‎‎The officers were also asked to ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks and maintain close coordination for effective implementation of Census-2027 activities across district Rajouri.‎‎Among others, the meeting was attended by ADC Sunderbani, Ramkesh Sharma; ADC Nowshera Pritam Lal Thapa; ADC Kalakote Mohammad Tanvir; ACR Mohammad Jahangir Khan; SDM Thanamandi Abid Hussain Shah; DSEO Sandeep Sharma DSHO PP Sagotra and other concerned officers.
