The Profiling of Waste Pickers under the NAMASTE scheme initiated in Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) West City Corporation, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka. Safai Saathis have been profiled through door-to-door surveys. Launched by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment in collaboration with MoHUA, DoDWS, MoPR, and NSKFDC, this initiative is a significant step towards ensuring dignity, occupational safety, and improved livelihood opportunities to Waste Pickers.
