Awareness Camp on Census 2027 Self-Enumeration held at Bhaderwah

BHADERWAH: An Awareness Camp regarding the self-enumeration process for Census 2027 was organized at Community Hall Bhaderwah to educate the public and government functionaries about the importance and procedures of online self-enumeration. The programme witnessed the participation of officers and officials from various government departments, stakeholders and members of the public.During the programme, ADC Bhaderwah Sunil Kumar Bhutyal highlighted the significance of self-enumeration in ensuring accurate, transparent and efficient census data collection. He informed that the Self-Enumeration Process has commenced from 17 May 2026 and shall continue upto 31 May 2026. He urged all officers, field functionaries and citizens to work in coordination for maximum public participation and smooth conduct of the census exercise.Experts and resource persons delivered detailed presentations regarding important procedures, operational guidelines, registration methods and digital census tools associated with the self-enumeration process. Demonstrations regarding online registration and submission of census details were also conducted to enhance public understanding and ensure hassle-free participation.The programme emphasized the importance of accurate census data for effective governance, developmental planning and implementation of welfare schemes. Various officers and officials of different government departments actively participated in the awareness drive and assured their full cooperation in spreading awareness among the masses regarding Census 2027 across Sub-District Bhaderwah.
