Nasha Mukt Campaign DIPR organises Symposium-cum-Cultural programme at School for Sightless Girls Roopnagar

JAMMU: Continuing its outreach under the “Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir – 100 Days Campaign”, the Cultural Unit Jammu of the Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) today organised a Symposium-cum-Theme Based Cultural Programme here at School for Sightless Girls Roopnagar.The programme was aimed at sensitising students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and motivating them to adopt a healthy and responsible lifestyle. Students actively participated in the symposium and shared insightful views on the issue, reflecting awareness and concern towards building a drug-free society.The Chief Guest, Principal Navedita Shukla appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to act as responsible citizens by spreading awareness against drug abuse. The artists of the Cultural Unit Jammu also presented theme-based songs in Hindi and Punjabi, which inspired the audience and reinforced the campaign’s message through engaging performances.The programme witnessed active participation from students, staff members and faculty, making it a meaningful awareness initiative.Certificates for appreciation were also given to all the participants of the symposium.The entire programme was conducted under the direction of Joint Director Information Jammu, Deepak Dubey and under the supervision of Cultural Officer Jammu Mohit Sharma.
