INR 1,40,7800/- and 23.59 gms of Heroin recovered by Jammu Police Headquarters Zone in Police Station R.S Pura

Jammu,28.04.2026 Continuing its drive against drug trafficking and substances abuse, R.S Pura Police achieved success by recovering *23.59 grams of Heroin (Chita) like substance & cash Rs 140,7800/-* from the house of drug peddlers from Satowali, Suchetgarh under the jurisdiction of P/S R.S Pura. In this regard an information received at Police Station from reliable sources that persons namely *1. Younis Khan S/o Rashid Ahmed R/o Satowali Near Ground Tehsil Suchetgarh District Jammu 2. Bashir Ahmed S/o Ali Baksh R/o Satowali Near Ground Tehsil Suchetgarh District Jammu* both are actively involved in the illegal trade of Heroin like narcotic contraband substances, especially targeting the youth of Suchetgarh/R.S Pura area and supplying the said contraband to them for wrongful monetary gain. The information further revealed that the said persons are presently illegally selling a large quantity of Heroin-like substance to innocent young youth in his house situated at Satowali near Ground. As per the information, a case *FIR No.80/2026 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act* registered in this Police Station, one accused person has been arrested another escaped from the spot, contraband along with cash seized and further investigation is going on. Jammu Police reiterates its firm resolve to eradicate the menace of drugs from society and appeals to the public to cooperate by sharing information related to drug trafficking and abuse.
