PSA Case Against MLA Mehraj Malik Deferred, Next Hearing on December 27

Srinagar, Dec 18: The High Court of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday heard the Public Safety Act (PSA) case against MLA Mehraj Malik from Doda, but deferred the matter, fixing the next date of hearing for December 27, 2025.

Official sources said that during today’s proceedings, the court heard arguments from one side, while the remaining arguments will be presented on the next date. The case forms part of a series of final hearings and has seen multiple adjournments in the past.

Meanwhile, supporters and voters of Mehraj Malik continue to wait for a final outcome in the case. Many expressed hope that the matter would move closer to conclusion during the upcoming hearing.
