Volleyball Tournament organised by Jammu Police at Govt. Boys Middle School Ground Satrayian, R. S. Pura under Civic Action Programme (CAP) concludes Satrayian team emerging as the champions by defeating Badyal Brahmana team 2-1 in a thrilling competition Jammu, 27.03.2025The Volleyball Tournament, organised by Jammu Police under the aegis of Civic Action Programme 2024-25, concluded successfully at Govt. Boys Middle School Ground Satrayian, R. S. Pura. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from various teams and drew a large crowd of local spectators.SSP Jammu Sh. Joginder Singh-JKPS graced the occasion as Chief Guest.SP Headquarters Jammu Sh. Irshad Hussain Rather-JKPS, SHO R S PURA Sh. R S Parihar, SHO Miran Sahib Sh. Jai Paul Sharma and officers of Headquarter zone were also present. Prominent members of media fraternity, and respected figures from the area were also present at the final ceremony.The final match was played between Satrayian and Badyal Brahmana with Satrayian team emerging as the champions by defeating Badyal Brahmana team 2-1 in a thrilling competition.* The winning and runner-up teams were awarded cash prizes, trophies,sports and other sports accessories.Speaking on the occasion, *SSP Jammu emphasized that J&K Police is committed to engaging with youth through sports activities as a constructive initiative to steer them away from drug abuse & other social evils. The event received widespread appreciation from the local community, particularly the youth, who hailed the efforts of the police in promoting positive and healthy engagements in Satrayian and adjacent areas
