The Department of Curriculum Studies and Development (DCS&D), NCERT, in collaboration with the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), organised a Four-Day Face-to-Face Capacity Building Programme for Master Trainers on the New English Textbooks aligned with NEP 2020 and NCF-SE 2023 from 27โ30 April 2026 at FDRC-AWES, Delhi Cantonment.
The inaugural session was chaired by Maj. General P. R. Murali, VSM (Retd.), Managing Director, FDRC-AWES, in the presence of Col. Pradeep Kumar (Retd.), Director Coordination/Scholarship, AWES, and Ms Rajani Thakur, Senior Faculty, FDRC-AWES.
A total of 54 TGT (English) teachers from Army Public Schools across the country participated in the programme. Experts from NCERT conducted sessions on pedagogical perspectives, content development, learning standards, and integration of technology and AI in English education
